The XH High Torque Series Clamps are heavy-duty worm gear clamps designed to handle higher loads with a 5/8" band width. Made from 300, 304, and 316 stainless steel, these clamps feature a longer, larger diameter screw for increased strength and more thread engagement, providing superior torque capabilities. With a thicker band material for higher tensile strength, the XH Series offers a minimum ultimate torque of 100 in-lbs (11.3 Nm) and a recommended installation torque of 75 in-lbs (8.5 Nm). These clamps feature a general-purpose, non-perforated band that is particularly effective for clamping soft silicone hoses. Murray’s embossed clamps are specifically engineered to protect soft hose materials like silicone rubber from shearing and fraying. The material grade and size are clearly stamped on the band for easy identification. Available in 304SS/W4 and 316SS/W5 stainless steel grades, with additional W1 and W2 grades available upon request, these clamps come in 9mm and 12mm band widths.
